Nothing negative to report

I could not imagine a better experience. The Treehouse Hotel deserves every bit of the great acclaim it has received. The hotel is perfectly located just off Montejo and blocks from Parque Santa Ana. The proprietors are exceedingly friendly and clearly understand how to provide a wonderful client experience. Similarly, the hotel staff is extremely competent, amiable, courteous, and proactive. The property itself is beautiful, with no detail overlooked. You will be glad you stayed at the Treehouse Hotel.

Can’t think of a thing I didn’t like

The staff were very kind. Aesthetically, it's a lovely property. The location is great and near Paseo de Montejo and good restaurants.

The breakfast (included) leaves a lot to be desired, but I think that's often how hotel breakfasts go. The value of the property just wasn't there for me (despite being a lovely place!). I think there are other options where the money can go a lot further.

The owner, Sunita, is very welcoming and helpful, and so are all the other staff ladies: Carolina, Ale, Jessica (sorry cannot remember all the names and not sure of spelling). Unfortunately my wife and I do not speak Spanish but there was a good level of English from the staff so communication was not an issue. A couple of evenings there were live classical music concerts in the courtyard which was a very nice touch that enhanced the overall experience.The staff was also very helpful with organizing trips for us and we were also allowed to leave our luggage with them for a couple more hours after we checked out. Also, Sunita owns another hotel a minute away down the street that has a bigger pool and the guests from Treehouse can use that as well. We definitely recommend the place and would stay there again.

The breakfast is good, but sometimes we had to ask for the basics (ie we received jam/honey and butter but no bread); some things were plenty, ie fruits, but the butter and jam/honey were definitely not enough for two people. We always received what we asked for so did not go hungry but we feel the breakfast service needs a little improvement. The pool is okay for swimming but not great but as per above there are other options.

Everything was wonderful. Our bags were delayed and the stuff did everything possible to get them to us. They contacted the airline every day multiple times. They did way more than I would have expected.. They did everything possible to make our stay perfect.
