Cozy City Centre Apartment with Free Gym and Free Coffee

Location, all it had going for it.

Smelt of cannabis, no kitchen crockery, 1 towel for 2 adults, half a toilet roll, mattress over hanged the base, fridge didn’t work and also the smell of left food.

They cancelled my booking on my way there

The price was very good. Collecting the keys was exceptional. The location is perfect

Could do with more towels, a better ironing board & some fresh cleaning sponges + kitchen roll. It’s these little details that add to the experience of a guest

I loved the location, the gym and the coffee lounge. I also liked that there were several different spaces so there was room to do different things.

I didn't like the fact that there was no toilet roll in the apartment and i went down to ask but there was no-one there so i just ended up buying it. Also, there was only one mug, no plates and no tea towel. I would have hoped there would be a few more essential items supplied but there wasn't. At night there was a low humming sound in the room so it wasn't easy to sleep and having to pick up the key and take it back to the costcutter when you have luggage with you isn't ideal. Also, if you put anything heavy on the table one of the legs collapses.

Location, cleanliness, modern

Mattress uncomfortable, hard to get temperature satisfactory

It was a good location to the Utilita arena.

Car parking not free? Had to pay £9 for parking. Place hard to find? Wouldn’t say it was the cleanest places. Trying to find the place to pick up the key and then park in a carpark that felt unsafe.

The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to transport, shops, and restaurants. The host were fine, they made everything smooth from check-in to checkout.

The bed was a little softer than I personally prefer. I also didn’t receive responses to my requests for an invoice and Netflix through the booking chat, so it may be easier to contact the host directly by phone or text instead.

It was quiet and the fob access was good so no random people could come in

The property is really well situated. I should have looked at a map to work out how to pick up the keys but once I did it was pretty straight forward. It was spotlessly clean and spacious. I was in Birmingham for a concert at the Utilita which is only a few minutes’ walk . There are tons of bars and restaurants with in a couple of hundred yards. I’d stay here again .

I was a shame that the property is showing as having free parking on site but it didn’t and I wasn’t offered any help towards parking costs which was odd.
