Transient Home, an Affordable Bed & Bathroom near DVO Airport

nice cozy room with private bathroom, comfy bed, big tv. Shared kitchen was nice to cook in. Water provided. Nice friendly host.

A bit tricky to find, the taxi had to call for directions. The location is only good for one thing, being a cheap accommodation that is close(ish) to the airport. So it's really just good for an overnight stay before or after a flight.

Supposed to have a shower, it did but did not work. When I returned to the room on my first day, someone had been in the ensuite, used the shower, bucket and dipper and locked the bathroom door as they left. Forcing me to get the surly house keeper to unlock it. As a private room I had no way of locking the room. I was told I needed to be in by 8 oclock in the evening or be locked out. The room had a wall full of wardrobes and cupboards. All had padlocks on the doors and no where for my clothes. Advertised as private which is a lie. I left after one night.

I can't say enough about how such a great experience we had here. Great location from the airport. Comfy luxurious home with a host that makes sure you're happy and comfortable for all your needs. You can have the host cook delicious meals and a great guide for the city. We felt as if we were at home. Love to come back if we get a chance, it would be the first place to go.

Would be a little better if the shower worked. Besides that nothing else i can think of.
