Azores Harbourside Studio - private self contained unit

Lovely private studio ideally placed for shops, buses and scenery. Studio was very well equipped and comfortable and,although small was well laid out and not cramped.

Wonderful studio for my 4 night stay. It is incredibly private with fencing around the whole outdoor area. Inside everything is very clean and newly renovated to a high standard. It is probably the best equipped place I've ever stayed in - microwave, airfryer, mobile oven, electric ring, electric frypan etc are all in the storage cupboard. The bed was very comfy and the shower had good pressure. Good communication from the host who lives next door but not intrusive. Nice area - enjoyable walk by the water, especially when the tide is in. The Welcome Bay hotpools are very close with amazing silky smooth water - not as flash as the more expensive Mount Manganoui ones but the water is so much nicer. I visited to see the Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival which I'd also highly recommend - in November in even years.

There is some traffic noise from the road outside and the petrol station opposite but this isnt too bad if you make sure the bathroom window is fully closed.

Great stay. Nice, peaceful and quiet.

WiFi signal was aweful, couldnt even get laptop to connect, TV relied on wifi which was unreliable.

Really comfy bed & amazing shower and amenities, nice and private with lots of car parking out front and the owners are really nice
