Hillcrest Lodge, Private apartment on Lough Corrib, Oughterard

Mooie, rustige locatie en prima appartement met goede faciliteiten. Werden verrast met een mand vol lekkere dingen en de gastvrouw kwam ook persoonlijk even langs. Ze staat open voor op- of aanmerkingen (maar die hadden we niet) en had duidelijke informatie achtergelaten over gebruik van apparaten, douche, verwerken van afval etc. - heel prettig.

Logement très moderne, bien équipé et super propre. Panier garni et l’accueil de Gráinne très convivial. On est au calme au bord du lac du Connemara, dans la campagne , il y a des chevaux dans la propriété. Je recommande.

Rien. Seul bémol, la route qui borde le lac est empruntée par des voitures mais c’est partout pareil à moins d’être en pleine montagne.

The location is fantastic, very private and quiet, walk to the lake and access to boating.

What an amazing place this is! We were also lucky to have fantastic weather, nothing but sunshine. But the location itself, wow. Stunning views and beautiful walking routes right from the accommodation. It’s wonderfully peaceful. The hostess is incredibly kind and welcoming. There was even a welcome basket filled with delicious treats. The cottage is fully equipped absolutely nothing is missing! We’ll definitely be back, as there’s still so much in the area we didn’t have time to explore.

Grainne was a wonderful host. She was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The guest hamper was much appreciated.
