Incantevole Monolocale a Lucca nel Centro Storico - BanStay

Excellent location and comfortable stay on the Via Francigena. The host allowed us to check in a bit early. Nice to have kitchen facilities.

There was a bit of a mildew smell, attempted to be covered by air freshener.

Struttura nel pieno centro di Lucca. Appartamento pulito e accogliente, curato nei dettagli e confortevole.

Il bagno un po' piccolo ma comunque sufficiente. Manca l'aria condizionata, è stato sufficiente il ventilatore perché il clima era mite, ma in piena estate potrebbe essere un problema.

monolocale molto piccolo, il bagno non era ben pulito: nella doccia abbiamo trovato persino una bottiglia vuota probabilmente lasciata dagli ospiti precedenti (che avrebbero dovuto rimuovere con le pulizie) il lavandino era estremamente piccolo, tanto da rendere difficile lavarsi le mani, il ventilatore faceva un rumore assordante, ma la stanza era molto calda e quindi eravamo costretti ad accenderlo.

L'unica cosa positiva è stata la posizione dell'appartamento

L'alloggio purtroppo ci ha delusi. Entrati abbiamo subito sentito odore di muffa e umiditá. L'arredamento sarebbe da rifare. Il bagno mignon, lavandino così piccolo che nn riesci nemmeno a lavarti bene le mani. Pulizia lascia molto a desiderare. Polvere dappertutto.Termosifoni arrugginiti che si scrostano. In doccia abbiamo trovato un flacone di docciaschiuma vuoto e dei bei capelli lunghi....Non lo consiglio per niente. E non ci tornerei mai più. Qualità prezzo meno di zero.

The apartment had everything we needed for our visit. The bed was comfy with additional blankets. The apartment was clean. There was tea and coffee along with a fridge to keep our milk and water chilled. There were facilities to cook if needed. It felt very safe and secure, and the contact to collect the keys were well communicated. We liked how central it was too. A very cute apartment, ideal for our short visit to Lucca, and the seeets were a very welcome treat! I would definitely book this accommodation again and will be recommending it to friends.

If you come by car consider a long walk to a free parking outside the walls (the side-effect of the central location!)

The location was excellent - very central. It was extremely quiet. The bed was comfortable.

The apartment smelt of damp even though windows had been left open before I arrived, and there were mould patches in the kitchen area. The bathroom has not been well planned or fitted, contributing to the damp problem I expect. The place is in need of thorough redecoration and some maintenance work. Although it had been cleaned in the obvious areas (kitchen and bathroom surfaces) there was dust in corners and some cobwebs. I don't think it's really suitable to be let out in its current state. The bathroom window needs mosquito netting.
