Wharf Inn Premier Apartment Central Manchester - Free Private Parking

Apartment was spacious with plenty of bedrooms.

The owner said that check in was 6pm but made us arrive earlier to collect keys which was inconvenient as the room wasn’t even cleaned yet. Parking was inconvenient aswell.

Location beds were ok

This is not a 3 bedroom apartment it is a two bedroom one en suite and the open plan lounge and kitchen with a double and single bed in it meaning the other occupants have 24 hour access to the'" so called third bedroom" The flat is not very clean the kitchen especially needs a deep clean on arrival we had to empty the dishwasher and wash the dishes as there were no dishwashing tablets the grill pan also had to be scrubbed as there was two inches of fat on it also No dish towel or cleaning cloth. There are not enough plates,mugs,or glasses for six people. We oaid £555 for two nights and expected a three bedroom two bathroom apartment equipped for six people which this is definately not

The location and free parking. Comfortable clean beds. WiFi was strong. Host Jay was very friendly and helpful

The balcony was jaded with a dirty ashtray. A little more attention to detail with cleaning into the corners, there were crumbs in the cutlery drawer and some dusty spots.

the sat nav nearly sent us the wrong way and finding the car parking was a challenge but the gentleman who met us was VERY helpful. the amenities were good but for a couple was a bit pricy.... it could accommodate I think 5 more which would make excellent value

The place hadn’t been kept well, and it wasn’t just something recent. You can tell that this was all built up over time - clearly it hasn’t been well looked after. ALL the drawers and wardrobes were dirty. One of the bedrooms had sticky stains on the floor. There was dust and dirt in pretty much every room and every corner you looked at. The hairdryer also had some sticky stains on it and dirty gunk stuck in the gaps of the switches. For an accommodation that claims to sleep up to 6-7 people, it’s absolutely shocking that there wasn’t enough hot water for 4 people. By the end of the third persons shower, the water was already freezing cold. The price was fair, but to be honest - you could probably book a hotel for something around the same price. Even if you had to pay a bit more, it’d be worth it. Staying here is definitely not worth the hassle. Some of the things I thought to myself were - does the host honestly think it’s acceptable to be advertising this under its current living conditions? Would they be happy booking into somewhere like this? Would they be comfortable with this? That’s all I’ve really got to say. They’re lucky booking.com only allows me to upload 4 photos because I have plenty more footage of the place that I was very unhappy about. Maybe I’m picking at it too much and being too critical, but I didn’t feel this justified what I paid and I feel like I’ve been ripped off.
