Casa Agatha Lenno- luxury air conditioned village home by Italian Apartments

Location was absolutely amazing - you can easily get onto the Greenway del Lago and walk into town for gelato, restaurants, the promenade along the lake, the Lenno ferry stop, the Lido, free beaches, path or boat to Villa Balbianello, etc. The apartment was exceptionally clean, pretty well stocked (could have been better with some extra bathroom and kitchen towels, those were quite sparse), the lift was nice to have with the luggage, the extra toilet/sink were a huge plus and it was great to have both a dishwasher and a washing machine. Balcony was nice with a small view of the lake. Julie checked in several times to ensure everything was ok so I think if we had an issue (we did not) she would have been readily available to support.

The shower. It is the tiniest shower I have ever seen and it's challenging especially as we are all tall people, but we made it work and it would not stop me from staying here again. The other challenge is the trash situation. Now I completely acknowledge that this is how it is in Italy (EVERYTHING has to be separated into 4 different types of trash, it's often confusing for those of us foreigners and disposing of it is a nightmare) however, we were asked to drive our trash north of Tremezzo which I think is quite unreasonable especially considering that on our departure day that is the opposite direction that we needed to go.

The positives were overshadowed by the negatives.

The owner refused to issue us a proper tax document and does not respond to my several requests for it to be issued. We had to solve the whole situation twice directly with Booking and we still do not have the invoice, as the host refuses to provide the invoice even to Booking itself. You can see zero interest in the customer! The behavior is completely unprofessional and ignorant. A bonus was that there was no hot water for a few days and one of the rooms couldn't turn on the AC for the entire stay because it was leaking water.

Was not told that we had to call one hour before arrival to confirm key collection!

An unbelievable view to wake up to every day. we enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace while looking at the lake and mountains. Very detailed check-in, which we appreciated. Julie and Barrie answered all our questions promptly and Julie gave us a ton of local recommendations. When we arrived she brought us up stairs and even double checked we had hot water. Our bed was super comfortable and the accommodations very clean. A binder with instructions, local tips and info was very helpful as was the folder with all the appliance instruction manuals. We were able to walk to the waterway and the ferry. We will definitely stay here again.
