Entire ground floor with full-privacy and family-friendly popular to ferry catchers

Host seemed nice when he delivered the keys and provided several messages to us. The access to a second toilet was needed for our family group. This unit does have it's own entrance.

The towels were hard, scratchy and require an update. To use the TV you require chrome cast which we did not have, there is no antena connected so you can not access local tv. You could hear the people moving around upstairs while sleeping. The washing machine seems to be connected to hot water only, not great for delicate items. Some of the beds were uncomfortable, particularly the fotoon in the living area and the single bed did not have sheets. Note the 5th bed is a fotoon in the living space and the 6th bed is a chair which converts to a single bed in the main bedroom if you require the additional beds as we did, we were a large family group. The bathroom felt more like an ensuite instead of a family bathroom and had been recently cleanend, however mould was still visible. Parking was not as we expected. The airer was supplied after we hang our washing on our own travel line, it was not in the unit when we arrived, and again this could be updated we found it rather unstable. The various floor mats in the house moved when walked on which was a concern for slipping and the floor is very uneven and some of the floating floor is lifting. Overall the unit felt tired and needs at a minimum a deep clean and refresh. Confused how the rating of 8.7 was obtained, not upto the standard deserving of this rating.

It was advertised as two bathrooms but there was only one and two toilets.

The property was clean, beds were comfy and there was everything we needed to get us through the week.

Not enough comfy seating for a family of 5 and being able to hear people walking around upstairs

Not as close to the ferry as implied. Washing machine available but dryer not on premises and vey high charge for use of owners dryer.

We loved the quiet location and it was within great distance to the event we travelled for. The host was very welcoming and we had quite a few people in for dinner and kept an eye on our noise levels so as not to disturb. We were very grateful that someone was willing to share their home with us.

It's interesting that for a property that can take up to seven people, there is only one place to wash (bathroom). There are two toilets which is great but a second shower would be a great addition to the property.
