The privacy was excellent. We were able to relax and enjoy our time in Wellington without the hustle and bustle of being in a motel.

The house is good clean, 30 mins to airport and 10mins ----15mins to ferry, the owner is friendly,

The bedding was old, the bed was a little soft, the dryer was upstairs (the owner lived upstairs), and it cost $15 to do laundry

The location of the apartment was very convenient for our family to get in and out of downtown Wellington and to the airport. The neighborhood was quiet with restaurants and shopping less than 5 minutes drive away. The apartment offered plenty of room for our family and though we did not utilize it, there was a clean kitchenette for basic cooking. Check in was not contactless, so we met our hostess upon arrival and received a warm welcome. There was also a "house book" with instructions and information which we always appreciate.

The shower and main bathroom had a little bit of mold which was unpleasant, but otherwise the apartment was spotless and clean. There was a washer and dryer for use, but the washer had a limitation on hours of operation and the dryer was up in the owners apartment for use with a separate fee - beware of this if you will be dependent on using the appliances. Lastly, though the beds were comfortable to sleep on, an off-putting thing were the bed linens. An easy upgrade to this apartment would be neutral bed linens with top sheets on every bed and non-decorative pillow shams for sleeping.
