Lo Stellario di Lucca

The position is perfect. Piazza San Francesca has a great cafe, good restaurants, brilliant pizzerias and it’s quiet. You’re a five to ten minute walk from anything in the city. Perfect place to stay with everything you need to self cater. We had an excellent month in Lucca. The bed is great!

The sofa isn’t the world’s comfiest but it was fine. Other than that Lo Stellario is perfect.

Very spacious, comfortable apartment in a fabulous location, walking distance to everything (20 mins walk to train station), conad supermarket nearby, Via Filungo, Piazza Napoleone for Lucca Summer Music Festival, all easy walks. Very clean throughout, well equipped kitchen. NIce to be in Piazza San Francesco, away from crowds and with 4 choices of cafes to eat at. Really appreciated the washing machine and detergent tabs.

It was a severe heat wave during my stay. I understand air-conditioning may not be possible, but the fans really didn't cool the apartment down at all. I suggest two portable air conditioners (the ones you add water to) be purchased for the comfort of guests - several shops and museums I visited had these, and they made a big difference in cooling down rooms. Also, not a problem for me, but guests should be aware there are about 20 steps to reach apartment (appreciate my luggage being taken up for me when I arrived). The alarm in laundry went off twice I'm aware of, and may need checking.

Well equipped kitchen, very large rooms, plenty of storage, washing machine, close to centre about 10 minutes away, busy enough locally, bars restaurants and gelato.

Please could you provide a small supply of dishwasher and laundry tablets. We can't fault the place. We look forward to booking again.

Anna met us at the private parking, explained everything to us, showed us the ropes and took us to the property and showed us round, everything was very clear, and well organised. Perfect location, centre of town, fabulous base. Looking out on the busy Piazza, bars were noisy and full in evenings over the w/e but pretty empty at the beginning of the week. Bed room at back and couldn't hear a thing, v comfortable and easy to sleep. Very spacious apartment and really was a home away from home for all our day trips and adventures. Great kitchen to cook in too with all facilities.

only one minor thing, which are personal preference - a) didn't particularly like the eating/butter knives - bit flimsy, but all the kitchen and bread knives were sharp which is unusual in a rental property. Really hard to find anything wrong, far more wrong in my own kitchen!

Excellent location, convenient and close to everything I needed. The apartment was very clean and roomy. I felt safe in the building. I would definitely rent there again.
