D Plus Resort Negombo

Definetly Not safe and very unclean. Not sure why this place has such good ratings. the people running it claimed they clean the room everyday, however there were dead cockroaches and loads of dead bugs in the room. I was on the ground floor and realized that bugs kept coming in. That is when I discovered that the sliding door could not be locked and the window in the bathroom was broken. There was no staff to talk to and when I tried to send them a message and inform them of this they did not respond, this was 3 weeks ago and I still have not gotten a response. By nighttime I had no choice but to leave to another hotel since anyone could have gone in through the window or sliding door. As a solo female traveller on my first night in a foreign country I felt very unsafe and got no help from the staff, and never got a refund.

Big room, nice shower and hot water, the wifi was good, staff was nice and kind. It was sort off clean

There were little ants every where, very far located from everything. Very noisy, I could hear my neighbours talk, next to busy street.

Clean and comfy Rooms. Polite staff. Good location.
