The Furze Farmhouse near St Andrews

The Furze is in a beautiful part of Fife and near to Perth, Cupar and St Andrews. The house is lovely and we enjoyed seeing the swallows(?) nests at every window with busy traffic flying by on a mission😂. The upstairs bedrooms are spacious and bright with comfortable beds and the bathroom lovely too, overlooking the fields. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need including BBQ, washing capsules and dishwasher capsules. A large fridge/freezer and another fridge in the utility room. Tumble dryer, dishwasher and washing machine. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! It was serviced daily and kept running! It had speakers too but we kept it low as it was next to a house on the other side. The garden was huge and the grass was trimmed! We enjoyed the peace and tranquility at the Furze and the views. Such a pretty spot and house and we were blessed with good weather!

Nothing really. Only minor things like the duvets lumpy (probably feathers inside that had stuck), we only found one fan for the whole house and could have used one in each bedroom, the garden table and chairs are getting tired and could be replaced and also some loungers added to relax in!

Non as we have cars so in and out from farmhouse to St Andrews, Perth is convenient

Excellent location and facilities. The hot tub was excellent, the view outstanding. Good parking and the property itself was perfect. We enjoyed a great holiday.

There was nothing we did not like. We liked the property very much and the owners were quick to get back to us when we had a question, we would have benefited from a welcome pack and maybe some instructions for the hot tub and information about where to put the rubbish etc.

Great location with fabulous views

Lodge showing signs of needing a bit of attention a bit run down. The settees were very low and most uncomfortable. We spent most of our evenings in the conservatory as they were more comfortable. Shame we only used the hot tub once due to heavy rain.

The farmhouse was beautiful inside and had everything we needed. The attention to detail was 10/10. The beds were very comfy too. The garden was amazing, with a large seating area and the added bonus of a hot tub which the kids loved. I would definitely stay at the Furze Farmhouse again.

Very beautiful location with all necessary equipment. The mornings were beautiful waking to chirping of birds, easy acess to long walks. Barbecue, hot tub to relax in the evening. Will definitely come back with extended family.

The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The host was friendly and responsive.

Beautiful home, cosy yet spacious. Spotless and welcoming, will most definitely return.

Amazing views in a really tranquil setting. Cottage is well appointed & owners left a lovely little welcome parcel of bread, eggs, milk and chocolate shortcake. Our dogs loved the garden & our 2.5 year old was delighted with the toys left that she could play with. Although short we had an amazing stay and the only thing that could have improved it would be an 11am checkout.
