Sorley's House

Location was amazing!! Loves have a little Oasis to return to after a long day of wandering around the island.

Shower pressure and controls need to be fixed. Went from warm, to scalding and then back to freezing cold with no notice.

The location and the views were STUNNING. Perfect location for Kilt Rock, Old Man of Storr, Quiraing and The Brother's Point. The listing doesn't properly list the fact that it's literally on the bay with incredible views of Staffin Bay, with gorgeous views of the sunrise and sunset from the living room! The kitchen is set up well to cook meals (although it's an electric cooktop) with lots of pots and pans, decent fridge. Comfy couches and cozy living room for drinking and cards. Washing machine and air dryer is good for doing laundry on a road trip.

I've seen lots of comments about the bathroom taps and they are true, might be hard to use if you have arthritis, carpal tunnel or similar. The bedroom and bathroom has a tiny bit of black mould but I suspect that's fairly common in this part of the world.

Nice place although we stayed in an adjacent property last minute to to some issue. Location fabulous.

..We liked the location . All the appliances we needed worked well and the information provided in the cottage ensured that this was the case

The bedroom with the double bed was small and consequently moving around the room was difficult.
