The Swan Suite

For a last minute booking, it suited our needs. Having stayed there previously, we knew what to expect but all the birds might be a shock to some! But as country-folk, we love it. The site is well kept and it is across the road from a co-op shop and is behind a fish & chip shop and laundrette. Pubs are within walking distance.

As it rained heavily for almost all of our entire stay, we became reliant on the tv. As the aerial is in the tree and has a nest in it, the signal was poor. If the aerial was moved out of the tree, it would give a better signal. Also, the accommodation should be listed as dog tolerant rather than friendly. Once the bed is down, there is very little floor space and as dogs are not allowed on the bed, they have nowhere to settle except the tiny space in the kitchen/door area. We brought our own blankets to cover everything, but still. You're either dog friendly or you're not.

Clean pleasant

I think there was tree branches which kept banging the roof which was a bit disconcerting

Location was great, was right we're we needed to be and central to visiting places and right near pubs and cafe and shop.

Only fault was the bin outside hadn't been emptied on our arrival, everything else was lovely

We booked this due to it being dog friendly, it was excellent value ,spotlessly clean and the fenced in patio was a bonus our dog had his own space to play we will definitely book again

Kitchen had what was needed to make simple meals (except no washing up liquid). Space to park very close, private patio area, on caravan site with geese, rabbits etc roaming around.

Accommodation is quite small, once the bed is pulled out there's very little room to put your cases/bags.

Everything I needed for a few nights. Private space outside for my dog. Would have been nice to meet the owners.

My dog unfortunately got ill (nothing to do with the property) so we had to check out early.
