Sri Lanka Reviews Ella What a great hidden gem. It’s a short tuktuk ride off the main road or walkable if the weather is right. While it’s close to everything, it’s also just enough up the mountain that the morning view from the large wrap around balcony is spectacular. It’s peaceful and you can’t hear the hustle of the main streets below. The brothers that own/operate the property are wonderful and extremely helpful. They are expanding on the land and I can’t wait to come back and visit again in the future. They also have a tuktuk service and will help you get around if you schedule with them. They had several amazing recommendations and connections when our original plans got cancelled due to rain. The room we stayed in was decent for Sri Lanka, but must note that it does not have A/C but does have a fan. The bathroom is spectacular. Really cute, large, and lots of hot water. The room is good for friends to share or a small family as the 2 beds are larger. There isn’t a lot of floor space but the shared balcony has plenty for lounging. Overall, I highly recommend this space for nature, some relaxing, and great hosts.

The biggest downfall was that the room has some leaks that we discovered when the rain got to be really heavy. Some we didn’t even realize until it was time to leave and items were wet that were stored on the luggage rack. Not major and nothing totally ruined, but something to note if you’re visiting in rainy season.

Lovely place with a great Mountain view. The room is comfortable with a huge bathroom. The host is lovely and make your stay as comfortable as possible and super caring. Breakfast was great.

Two brothers have started this relatively new homestay - lovely view with large rooms and bathroom and useful mosquito nets! It’s a little out of Ella but they have their own tuk tuk so you can easily arrange drop off and pick up - just a few minutes. Nice to be away from the noise of Ella! I wish them luck in their venture! Very good value. And great breakfast.

Bed side lamps would be good alongside the main central light!

Lovely location, the service was very personal. The staff were very attentive, preparing fresh breakfast at your preferred time, option to be picked-up and dropped-off by their own tuk-tuk which was very helpful. The staff went the extra mile!

Very child friendly hosts! They took us everywhere we needed to go for a fair price. Dinner at their place was very tasty. Great view!
