Le Mékong Bleu Homestay

Beautifully warm and welcoming homestay. Great location and superb home cooked meals too.

We had an excellent stay at Le Mékong Bleu, Summer and her family made us feel very welcome and made our visit to Ben Tre very special. Summer and her family were incredibly helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. Summer was also able to communicate fluent English.We were offered lots of advice about the local area. Rooms are charming, spacious, clean and well equipped. The common areas are beautiful and peaceful! We only recommend Le Mekong Blue :-)

Summer was just amazing! The Homestay is made and decorated with a lot of love! It has so many lovely details, is clean and welcoming. It is a little oasis. But the best thing is Summer and her family themselves. She takes care of her guests and makes your stay special with a lot of help and caring. She can tell you a lot about the house, the history of the town and Vietnam. You can feel the enthusiasm and passion she has for her culture and nature and likes to share it with you! She was so helpful when I forgot my medicine and send it to me. Everything just perfect☺️

An amazing stay in this gorgeous family home. Can’t believe it’s only been going 3 months, they have really thought of everything here and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The house and room are beautifully decorated, air con was great - best night’s sleep we had in Vietnam! The free bicycles with map for a 2hr pretty cycle were ideal, the breakfasts were delicious and Summer (and her sister) were able to give us lots of advice of what to see and where to go/eat. Would come back in a heartbeat ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful room and perfect to explore Ben Tre and the Mekong area. Summer was a great host and provided all necessary information about the area. We ordered the dinner that her family made and it was delicious (vegetarian option available). Would recommend this home stay!

The host, Summer, is very helpful & friendly. She provided information about transport to the Homestay & for our onward journey. The free bicycles were appreciated. The Homestay is well located for exploring the rural area nearby or visiting the town on Ben Tre.

Compared with other places we’ve stayed in Vietnam, the Homestay is over-priced. It is basic accommodation at an inflated price. We had pretty china dishes but a poor bathroom - the fittings were stained & rusty & there was no hot water. The bedroom window looked directly into a wall. The evening meal was bland & disappointing (but the breakfasts were good). More chairs for guests on the terrace would be helpful (there were only two). We were told we could use the fridge in the kitchen, but it was full of the host’s food supplies. There was a kettle in the room but nowhere to plug it in! All the sockets were at head-height.
