Escape To The Country

Wonderful location in the countryside, very peaceful. Very warm welcome even when arriving late, hosts were friendly and made us feel right at home. Had everything we could need for our stay, nice and comfortable with plenty of home comforts. Recommended for those wishing to explore Lincoln city, short drive in gets you right up to the cathedral and the castle.

We loved how fresh, spacious and convenient this place was. We were here to visit Hemswell antiques for a couple of days as 4 adults and a baby. It was so pleasant! We all loved it!

We struggled to find it in the dark - but Denise gives good instructions and if read closer to arrival it should be ok to find.

We all thought the location of the stay was ideal for us and really peaceful. The family really enjoyed taking walks around the area, wildlife everywhere. My sons loved it. The shower room was amazing and the beds were very comfortable.

We learnt fast not to have the windows open in the evening due to bugs but this meant the place was warm. Fans would have been really useful. The fact there were 6 of us staying, the sofa did not accommodate everyone which was a shame. My son lost something under one of the beds and we found lots of things under there. It hadn't been cleaned.

Pretty and peaceful location, the property is well appointed, comfortable and clean. The selection of breakfast and tea/ coffee staples was much appreciated.
