The house was beautiful! The hosts created such a welcoming environment, the house had a cozy feel and we had the absolute delight of arriving to fresh baked brownies. I would absolutely stay here again.

"Lovely historical home"

The home itself is beautiful and it's great getting to stay in a historic home. Our hosts were extremely accommodating and really did make us feel like we were at home. In our room was a little snack plate with fresh fruit and meats and cheeses along with some local Mr.Bees chips and dip which were a welcome treat after a long day's drive. We were also able to enjoy the living room in the evening after we had explored the mothman museum and other local shops. Vicki brought us some movie snacks that included some homemade chocolate chip bundt cake! So many personal touches and great conversations!

"Comfy stay in a gem of a house!"

Superbly maintained 150 year old house. Clean and comfortable. Loved the welcoming cheese and crackers snack! Great shower. Comfy bed. Beautifully decorated room. Wonderful hospitality!

"A hidden gem in West Virginia"

Hosts were extremely nice and their Mexican restaurant recommendation was right to my heart. They also provided a wonderful cheese plate for the night. The Christmas deco for the room was very warm and the bed was very comfortable. I constantly travel around the world so I know it was my fortune to find such a gem in the corner of West Virginia and I greatly appreciate everything that I received during my short stay. This place is midway between my home in NC and my children in Mid West so I will be driving through the area during my future visit to see my children. I would definitely stop by again to enjoy more good night rest.

"Ohio River Green"

Chuck and Vicki were so warm and welcoming. We enjoyed extended chats with both of them. Their home is beautiful and our room was wonderful. We will definitely return, if we have the opportunity.
