Centro Vero Suites by Omilos Hotels

Spacious suite with a large and comfortable bed. It felt calm and airy and a place you are happy to return to. Coffee machine (with lots of capsules!) and a generous balcony. Great breakfast in the cafe below was included in our stay and the staff are really friendly.

The entrance is cramped and was always full of of the cleaners buckets and big laundry cages, not a very sophisticated welcome. Also ‘city view’ doesn’t necessarily mean the view that they show you of the beautiful cathedral. Half of the rooms look at the backs of other houses (not such a great vista), maybe some more truthful shots on their listing might set the right expectations and leave less room for disappointment?

We had such a lovely stay here and really enjoyed our time. The bedrooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the city view from the apartment was amazing, especially in the evenings. One of our favourite features was definitely the bathtub on the balcony — it was such a fun touch and our toddler absolutely loved it. The location is ideal and makes exploring the city so easy, as you can walk practically everywhere from the apartment. We also really appreciated how helpful and accommodating the hosts were throughout our stay. They helped arrange our car rental, which made everything feel completely stress-free and reliable. Breakfast at the restaurant was also very nice and a great way to start the day.

The only small downsides were that coffees in the morning were an extra charge, and parking in the area can be a little difficult at times. Aside from that, we had a wonderful experience overall and would happily stay again.

Perfect location, spacious apartment with everything you might need.

Towels could be changed more often

La habitación era enorme, muy limpia y con un gran balcón donde poder sentarse también. Está en pleno centro de la ciudad y el desayuno es espectacular, buenísimo, nos sorprendió mucho.

Al llegar fue un poco confuso porque no hay ningún tipo de recepción donde poder preguntar, funciona con códigos.

It was very spacious.

The windows were very dirty that it was hard to see outside, and the older plumbing resulted in a stinky bathroom smell at times. The toilet was also constantly leaking, but it did drain into a drain pipe on the bathroom ground.

Très propre, bien agencé, une jolie terrasse.

En plein centre ville, proche des restaurants et commerces. L'équipement de l'appartement est très bien.

Pour le petit déjeuner, il faut faire 200/300m.

Location is great, apartment was clean and bed comfortable, but overall this stay did not meet basic expectations for the price.

Location does not justify the cost. Noise was unacceptable- there seems to be a café/bar below with speakers mounted near the bedroom wall. Soundproofing overall is very poor (street and neighbors). we stayed during cold weather peak in May. Heating didn’t work during cold weather- its rare in Crete, but as a host you should aniticipate it nevertheless. ….and there was no hot water unless we manually turned on the boiler , which even then was lukewarm after an hour of waiting. Turning up a boiler should not be expected from guests. Bathroom handle also came off, showing lack of maintenance. Second bedroom was only usable option due to noise, but it faces an elevator (?) shaft, which is quite unpleasant. No front desk- just a whatsapp messaging. Overall felt like staying at some random person’s apartment
