Excellent stop while going to Govind ghat from Dehradun

An ideal choice for international visitors and backpackers coming to Rudraprayag. The room was clean, had AC, a hot shower, and all the essentials. The main positive, however, was the staff and the charismatic, English-speaking owner who helped organise a day trip for my partner and I to see some of the temples in the surrounding area, which was excellent and a highlight of our visit to India. There are also a couple of good restaurants within a five minute walk of the hotel. I think Rudraprayag has a lot to offer visitors and will develop a stronger tourism scene in the coming years -- the guys here are helping to lead the charge.

The hotel is a roadside hotel, so it doesn't have views of the river or Sangam or anything like that, and the traffic is pretty loud in the morning. It's also a bit out of the centre of Rudraprayag, which can make it a slight challenge to reach when arriving in the city by bus from Rishikesh (though, it just requires asking the bus driver to drop you off 5 minutes early -- that said, some kind of bus-stop pick up service would still be great!). The good thing is that you can flag down and hop on the bus back to Rishikesh from directly outside the hotel in the morning, which is very convenient.

Location was good the room was clean and good blankets and very nice. During winters there was hit water. Also to have lunch and dinner the restaurants are close by. Overall a great place to stay.

The hotel is right on Badrinath Road, easy to find, a great restaurant right across the street was open until 10, the room was clean and comfortable, staff was there to meet us and answered questions immediately by phone. They even gave our taxi driver parking and a bed for the night. Overall a great value for the money.
