We stayed for six wonderful nights at Octopus House, Langkawi, and it was truly one of the best accommodation experiences we’ve ever had. The hosts, Anna and Ricky, are unbelievably friendly, caring, and thoughtful, far beyond anything we could have imagined. We have been travelling for over 30 years and have stayed in hundreds of different accommodations, but if we had to rate the best hosts ever, that honour would undoubtedly go to Anna and Ricky. This was our first time in Langkawi, and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and confident. They provided excellent advice and local tips, and despite their busy schedules, Ricky even drove me personally to the scooter rental place, which was incredibly kind and thoughtful. The location of the property is perfect, close to restaurants, shopping malls, and everything you need. The absolute highlight is that they own a convenience store right downstairs, which was extremely convenient throughout our stay. The property itself was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and well maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home. Without any hesitation, we can say that we won’t look anywhere else to stay if we ever visit Langkawi again. Octopus House and the hospitality of Anna and Ricky have set the bar extremely high. Highly, highly recommended!

Honestly, nothing at all. If there is one small “regret,” it’s that we didn’t know Anna and Ricky before visiting Langkawi. Had we informed them in advance, they would have happily created a fantastic plan and itinerary for us, which shows just how genuinely caring and thoughtful they are. Everything about our stay, from the comfort and cleanliness to the warmth and hospitality, was simply perfect. There was absolutely nothing to dislike.
