The property was clean and compact. It had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and we really appreciated the tea/coffee/ sugar & milk supplied. It was in a quiet, peaceful location and was within easy reach of Healy Barn.The property was great value for money. We would consider staying here again in the future. Communication with Ben was easy & he replied quickly to any emails. The check in process was simple & efficient. We would definitely recommend this property.

The track up to the property was narrow. Ok, through the day but very dark & not lit at night. There was a sensor light that came on, but not until you had reached the property. The signage for the property could have been clearer and match the property name on the booking website. The first bedroom had a king size bed & bunk beds in bedroom 2. The beds & pillows were too soft for us, but that is because we prefer really firm mattresses & pillows. The shower room was small, which was fine for us but it could be an issue for taller people.

The host/owner Ben, was very responsive and extremely accommodating to our requirements. We found the personal touch lovely. His accommodation was faultless, it had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A lovely little cottage which was comfortable and had almost everything we could have wanted for a one night stay. The staff were happy for an earlier check in time which was really appreciated as we were at a wedding at Healey barn for 2. The cottage has a comfortable seating area in front of a fire. Bring some wood if you want to use it. A comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and shower and toilet. The location is great for visiting near by towns like corbridge and hexham and as mentioned we were attending a wedding at Healey so this accom was great for that.

There were only a few things that would have made our stay slightly better, a floor mat/towel for stepping out the shower as the shower door doesn't fully close so water spreads into the kitchen. It is a quant little property so if ur 6ft3 like me remain vigilant as one night isn't enough time to adapt to low ceilings and door ways without the odd bump.

Its location suited our needs.

The post code & directions weren’t very clear & it didn’t help that the name on the property wasn’t the same as the booking name. Also being at the end of the lane I’m glad I turned up in daylight as turning a car around in the space available would have been tricky in darkness. There were no bedside lights so after turning off the light in the room with bunk beds & getting into the beds without banging into anything was quite daunting.

Well presented, clean and ideal travel point for us...We stayed 3 nights. Plenty of hot water for 3 adults i.e. showers never ran short of warmth.

Compact with everything provided. Helpful neighbour( adjacent) Responsive owner. Great bolt hole in convenient area. Riding Mill has a station! Great cafe there.

Parking was tricky as not much space to turn around but at least there was parking at the property!! Not the easiest to find,access road to Bungalows presented a challenge.

Clean and comfortable.

Difficult to find… no street name or door number and it has a different name on it. If you were looking in the dark it would be a struggle as no street lights either . A stranger helped otherwise it would have taken much longer.
