The Old Office

Simple 4 person flat in a great location in the centre of Tunbridge Wells. Very comfortable bed.

We arrived at 5 on Sunday afternoon after a long drive. "Let's have a nice cup of tea." In every other let of this type we have experienced over the last 40 years, there has been a basket of basic provisions to start your stay with, at least a small loaf or pack of biscuits and a pint of milk. Unfortunately, there was nothing and I think that's a bit mean, so off I go on the 10 minute walk to the convenience store. Cup of tea, 20 minutes late, but hey ho. 7 o'clock comes. "Let's have a nice glass of wine." Can't believe it, only 1 wine glass. In my mind, that's near to unforgivable, a shocker. There's some art on the wall in the kitchen listing things needed for a happy life. No.4 is drink wine. Chance would be a fine thing! We awake the next morning. "Let's have a nice shower". Where's the shower gel? There is none! Hand wash supplied but no shower gel. Bizzare! I get dressed without a shower to go back to the shop to buy some and also some wine glasses for the rest of our stay. Little things can make a stay. The flat is fine, if a little grubby in places. Just a little thought and consideration from the owners would improve it no end!

The location is perfect, close to restaurants and shops. Lovely clean and comfortable apartment . Excellent shower. Very comfortable bed. There was even a Christmas tree! Great communication by hosts.

Fantastic location minutes from centre and car park.Easy access with lockbox and although very close to shops and restaurants ( including an excellent one just across the road) it was very quiet in the flat. Excellent communication with host.

Minor things but a small chair in bedroom and a side table in the living room would have been good.

Comfortable venue and cleanliness was excellent. The location is ideal for town center.
