"Our first experience of a backpacker lodge. Suited our needs. Met some nice people in communal areas"

Friendly manager willing to take time out of his busy day to chat to guests. Good car parking. Location is good, nice walks locally.

The whole property is very dated,our en-suite especially. The main kitchen relies on guests cleaning utensils, trays etc, these could’ve done with a good deep clean. The oven door didn’t close tightly so wouldn’t warm up adequately. It’s well used!

Really nice relaxed feel and the hot tub was a nice bonus

Some of the shared spaces are starting to be a bit run down and damp
