Hotel Due Mori

The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy and the room was spacious. Location is great and fine for the one night we were there.

Ac did not work well in our room, the ac unit is located by the entrance door and mostly flows into the hallway/stairwell. The cleaning staff knocked on the door and asked us to leave our room 20 minutes before checkout while we were packing up.

Excellent location, premises and breakfast. Very professional and kind staff.

I highly recommend Due Mori hotel. It is wonderfully located at the heart of the old town. In no more than two minutes by walk, you can reach great local restaurants, amazing pastry shops as well as the main square (Piazza degli Scacchi) and the castle. Its staff is extraordinary helpful. During our stay, Mr Alberto (at the reception) was extraordinary helpful in scouting for a place to dine while it was already late at night. He has also provided us with very valuable tips about where to go and what to see. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is right in the center of the historic district of Marostica with views of the Castles and the ancient walls, housing a gracious restaurant with great food and convenient to cafés, restaurants and transportation. Alberto, the hotel manager is a Prince among men, going out of his way to arrange complicated travel transfers for us so that our trip would unfold smoothly. Monica guided us on a wonderful tour of Palladio’s La Rotonda Villa and Olympic Theater, a very informative and pleasurable half day. The Living Chess Game is truly a marvelous event involving many of the town’s people and including costume, song, dance, drumming, flag throwing and fireworks! We had a fabulous stay at Due Mori in this small and lovely town.
