Hotel City Inn

Very sad breakfast. Oily stuff and very little choice.

Room was booked for two persons. And the linen kept for 1. The tea kettle was filthy, got it replaced. Duvet cover was torn at one location. Only one plug point in the vicinity of the bed. Pigeon nest at the toilet window with hatchlings.

Breakfast needs to improve..

The best part is the location. The hotel is at the top floor of a building. The place is peaceful and you get everything there within 100 meters. including the food joints. The reception looked very prompt, helpful and courteous.

Breakfast was very ordinary. Hotel is saving maximum on this. Never thought complimentary breakfast can be so ordinary. Staff manning the dining hall lack of courtesy and skill. The hotel should rather not think of offering breakfast and reduce the room tariff accordingly, which appeared to be quite high considering the size of the room. The bucket and mug was asked to be replaced. They said it was hard water deposited, but then periodically it is to be cleaned properly.

It was close to IIT.

The entrance was not good.

The place was value for money and was located nicely in regards to my purpose of visit.

On the other hand, it seems that the property is scarcely occupied (at least when I visited) hence one of the days when we showed up for breakfast no buffet was there. The room appears clean but the more you look at it it feels messy.

The hygiene. The staff was polite and helpful. Full value for money.

Could improve on breakfast but still good.
