Sandpipers, Port Isaac Bay Holidays

The house was lovely, views were wonderful, and we enjoyed our stay.

I did use the second bedroom with the full bed mattress on a couple nights (when my back was hurting and I needed a bit more space) and noticed this specific bed is sagging and rolling to middle. I definitely would not suggest two people sleeping in it. We let the property manager know, so they could take care of it. My added thought - is it would be better to have a queen size bed in this second room (if the entire bed needs to be replaced) for comfort of guests. The house currently is 3 bedrooms - one with queen bed, one with full (or double), and one with twin (which appeared to have a trundle under the twin that could be pulled out - but you'd have to confirm with property manager).

inexpensive basic essentials like kitchen paper towel, shampoo & body wash for the shower, & simple "welcome provisions" like half-pint milk in fridge, were NOT provided by Host ...which is unreasonable "penny-pinching" given the daily cost to rent this property

We spent a week at Sandpipers. It is an amazing place, spotlessly clean, the decor in each room is impressive, outdoor space to relax was a bonus, everything was there for self catering and the views from the many windows were sensational. The location is brilliant just 5 minutes walk to the harbour, 15 minutes walk to Port Gaverne via the coastal path, we walked the SW cliff path at the side of Port Isaac which offered panoramic views. There is parking outside, which is major bonus in Port Isaac and the few local amenities are all close by including a small Coop.

Sandpipers is up an incline which we expected having visited Port Isaac in the past. Within a short time we got use to this and was not an issue for us.

Fantastic location, brilliant views, and lovely well kept and spacious accommodation - thank you for the care package of goodies that we enjoyed for our honeymoon! Everyone is very friendly including the surrounding neighbours.

No tea bags, washing up liquid or kitchen roll, but only minor, and we bought and left them for the next guests :)
