Sophie's Place

The apartment is located in one of the old historical buildings, right across the street from the Black church. The entrance is inside a courtyard, through a heavy door that seems to be the original one of the building. If you come with heavy luggage, be prepared to carry them one floor up the stairs. The apartment is amazing - real wood hard floors, spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean . The host was friendly and helped us with last minute requests.

We came back to the apartment after dark and couldn’t figure out how to turn on the light on the stairs heading to the apartment.

The bath tub was great way to relax, good kingside bed. Kitchen looks nice and modern. Great location. Loved the entrance door. And wooden inside doors.

No slippers available, (even after I contacted the host), entrance in building needs serious repairs, living room couch not so well positioned for watching tv or leisure chats. No dishwasher, no toiletries available. Parking was another issue, it took me 2 hours to find a parking spot, maybe add map to booking confirmation so guest can find parking hustle free. The small bedroom with twin beds needs some work, floor was squeaky (old terracotta heater still there) Not enough towels in the small bedroom. Trash cans had no linen.

Great location. Beautiful apartment. Immaculate with lots of space and great amenities. The host was accessible and friendly with advice. Recommended for a great stay in Brasov.
