Secret House Boutique Hoi An

Beautiful, peaceful hotel with an amazing view of the ricefields. We loved our stay so much that we actually turned around in Hanoi just to come back and stay here for another two weeks. Thuy, Salt and the rest of the staff are always incredibly helpful and kind. If you’re into art and music and looking for a calm place to stay away from the busy centre of Hoi An, this is the perfect spot. This truly became our home away from home, and we can’t wait to come back.

- A boutique hotel full of soul, with the artist-owner personally shaping the space…thoughtful, tasteful, highly artistic, and stylish. - Great location…. away from the tourist crowds of Hoi An Old Town. Peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful rice field view right in front, especially in April.

Booked a room with a bathtub, but received a room not matching the booking……a super tiny bathroom with no bathtub (see attached photo). The hotel said it was the same type and that all rooms were fully booked, so I was forced to take it with no alternative. Bad experience.

Die Lage zwischen Strand und Altstadt war für mich ideal. Ruhig an einem Reisfeld gelegen, aber trotzdem in der Nähe von allem. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und es war mir rundum wohl. Gerne buche ich wieder hier, sollte ich in Zukunft wieder nach Vietnam reisen!

Les hôtes ainsi que le personnel, tous aussi gentils les uns que les autres ! L'atmosphère artistique et paisible du lieu, les propriétaires sont passionnés d'art et d'architecture, n'hésitez pas à aller faire un tour dans la galerie d'art, vous y croiserez peut être monsieur en train de chanter au piano. Les chambres étaient très bien décorées et la literie très confortable. La secret house proposait l'emprunt de vélo gratuit, très pratique et agréable pour rejoindre le centre ville en empruntant les chemins au milieu des rizières ! Depuis certaines chambres vous aurez accès à une vue sur les rizières depuis le balcon, le petit déjeuner proposé est très bon (soit occidental soit local) et vous pourrez le déguster à l'extérieur avec un magnifique point de vue. Accompagnez tout ça d'un délicieux coconut coffee.

Eine Ruheoase in den Reisfeldern. Sehr schöne und besondere Unterkunft, ein Ort zum Verweilen. Sehr nette Gastgeber!

Leider konnte man in direkter Umgebung nicht essengehen.

Lovely accommodation in a great location. We had a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the rice paddies and very much enjoyed our stay. The bed and bedding here were so comfortable as were the pillows! The free bikes were good quality too.

Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss. The shower although nice and powerful, was very unstable temperature wise and would go scalding hot despite not touching the controls.

Everything! Place with soul, many details that make great ambiance. Thuy was such a great host. See you again ❤️
