"Excellent stay"

We had an excellent stay at The Apple Tree! The facilities were great (big bed, lovely shower, patio space, great kitchenette area for prepping food). It was a hot weather weekend so the air con was a real bonus. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed Tankerton and the beach and enjoyed walking in to explore busy Whistable - enjoyed that it was a bit quieter and peaceful near the accommodation. It was also a great base for exploring other parts of Kent as we travelled to Canterbury for a wedding and Folkestone to visit friends. The hosts were so friendly and went above and beyond to help us when we lost some valuables on the beach. We would highly recommend and definitely return if we get to visit Kent again.

"An excellent place to stay."

Just perfect! A very nicely decorated annex-room with new furnishings and excellent facilities. The fresh flowers were a really nice extra. The house is situated in a quiet road a short walk from the sea-front. The owner was pleasant and helpful.

"Great location, great set up, friendly host. Everything you need for a short getaway."

It was a great bonus to have breakfast provisions provided including juice, cereals and brioche buns and the kids loved the little extras - coca cola, Kit Kat's and crisps. The bathroom was also very well provided with shower gel and toothpaste which was very helpful. The host was very welcoming. The set up is great with private entry and access to a shared garden.

The pillows weren't very comfy but everything else was great.

"A really freindly welcome and the perfect stop over on our bike tour."

The Apple Tree was perfectly located for our mini bike tour along the Viking Coastal Trail and we were pleased to be able to store our bikes in the garden. Our host was really welcoming and the milk in the fridge, along with snacks and breakfast choices, was an unexpected bonus. We had everything we needed here.

The bathroom looked really luxurious and it was nice to use but the shower tray was shallow for such a big shower head, and that gave us a bit if a wet floor to deal with.
