The Clipper Hotel Makati

Size of the room. Full size refrigerator and microwave.

Many Maintence problems. Serious problems and a lack of security and watching out for guest safety that ended up requiring police involvement. Staff was very helpful at checking in, but became distant when leaking faucet, no functioning toilet, and no hot water followed by no water issues were raised. Toilet and hot water were eventually resolved, but water pressure was very low. Staff became distant and uncaring after this. Dated theme hotel.

I love the location, the vibes of the hotel and the hotel itself. This is highly recommended.

The pressure of the water in the shower is not okay. Kindly fix this. Also, no slippers available in the room.

The staff were the best thing about this stay. The two ladies shared the 24 hour shifts and always had time for a chat and a smile. The location was good if you enjoy a busy lifestyle with plenty going on for about 20 hours a day.

The room facilities were very poor. A balcony which was forbidden to guests. A promised security box was non-existent. Two twin beds pushed together with a ridge down the middle which meant I couldn't enjoy the luxury of spreading myself out on a double bed. The bed promised was Queen. Finally the two venetian blinds hadn't been maintained in centuries and refused to operate properly.

This was our third time staying at The Clipper House. This isn’t a typical hotel that you might be thinking of. For us, it’s classic architecture that reminds us of Manila from that time. Google PanAm clipper and you’ll see what we mean! The art decor, wood floors in the rooms and style of the building are absolutely classic!

It would be nice if the ceiling fans at the downstairs desk were on more often. I think it would help to move the air and make it feel a bit cooler.
