Vanvitelli Palace B&b

The location was excellent for travel around the area. But Meta at this time of year was quiet, so most nights we travelled into Sorrento. But the train was only a 5 minute walk away and the cost was only 3 Euro's return. Both Maria and Antonino were always contactable via WhatsApp and they were able to help with any questions and offer advise on transport, restaurants and taxis.

Upon arrival we were quite shocked to see the building, but we soon found out the reason for the exterior. Once inside and up on our floor we were really surprised at the quality of the building.

L'Antonino és molt simpàtic i atent. Ens ha recomanat molt bé on menjar i sopar. El Palau és impresionant i l'apartament està fet amb molt bon gust. Teniu un espai comú molt confortable i les habitacions són grans i còmodes.

Antonino and his staff were great hosts! This hidden gem needs to be enjoyed by all visiting the Sorrento area... The beauty of the palace nestled in the mountains made for such a memorable visit. Not only was it a comfortable stay, but Antonino went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had all we needed to be completely satisfied. He even made a special stop to acquire gluten free food for my daughter so her dietary needs were accommodated. We can't thank you all enough and look forward to our return visit!

C'était une belle villa, mais pour les personnes ayant des problèmes de genoux, ce n'est pas un ascenseur, c'est un peu dur, c'est très propre, le petit déjeuner était super, et l'accès au chemin de fer était proche.

We loved the setting, it's really a palace with sweeping views of the sea and the mountains, and the room is quiote large with frescoes covering the ceiling. The location is very close to the train station and not far from the beach in Meta. It's by a football pitch, but the neighbourhood is very quiet and the footballers don't play too late at all. Maria Chiara was an excellent and attentive host who gave us keen recommendations and took care of all of our requests!

What a beautiful place to have a holiday! This beautifully restored palatial building is stunning. The spacious interior and decor are sublime. Everything you need is at hand. My favourite part was watching the sunsets from the terrace before setting off for dinner. I have travelled to Meta on a few occasions now, and this apartment is the best by far! I loved the location, which is so close to the train station to take you on your adventures on the Almalfi Coast. Thank you, Maria, and the lady who supplied my breakfast each morning for looking after me so well. Highly recommended...5 Star!
