Fabulous location, well appointed, spotlessly clean and loads of added extras and amenities on top of the usual including fruit, wine, cakes, jams, eggs, water, soft drinks, beach towels, first aid kit, washing powder, bucket and an iron.

what’s not to like? amazing location located on the tip of a peninsula and old fishing village with little cottages turned holiday houses. one small restaurant next door very popular called Medusa. the sunrise from the patio and sunset from front, even from the bedroom! the house is adorable and well curated, perfectly clean and very comfortable. the owners provide everything for your stay including, bathroom toiletries, water, wine, snacks and coffee! the water outside the house is crystal clear for swimming. the location is very remote and slightly secluded and at the same time in peak times the restaurant next door gets busy with people but never annoying. it’s part of the experience. you must have a vehicle to stay here and the nearest little town is 10 mins away where the ferry is located. loved our little cottage

The location in Mandrakia is amazing. It is off the beaten path in a remote fishing village with a picturesque view of the bay down below. The back patio allows for a beautiful view from the deck chairs (partially obscured by the restaurant), which makes for wonderful sunrise and sunset. The location is also great for getting to Serakiniko Beach for sunrise - it is a short 7 minute drive there. Driving back to Adamantas and other places on the island is also easy. The room is immaculate and very charming, the perfect setting for the beach. The kitchen is well-equipped if you choose to cook any meals there. If you don’t want to cook, Medusa Restaurant is right next door, with great traditional food options. Come for the fresh-caught octopus and shrimp! Milanos is a great host and provided homemade jellies from his mom.

The only downside of note is the restaurant next door. The noise was not as great as some other reviewers experienced, but if you go to bed early (as far as Greeks are concerned) you may hear restaurant noise while trying to sleep.

The house is in Mandrakia village which is really nice and really small and cozy. It has a small port and accessible for swimming although we didn’t at the time. There are seating areas around the village facing the sea to eat outside. The village is filled with cute cats! The house is well decorated and has everything that you need for cooking. The kitchen is very well equipped (including salt, olive oil, snacks…).

We were there in May and some nights were cold and the house isn’t well isolated and heated. It also got a bit humid in the house/bathroom and towels weren’t drying properly. There is no running hot water so we had to manually turn on the heater 20min before using hot water which can be inconvenient. One night all water completely stopped working for about 12 hours because of a technical problem, it was eventually resolved by our host.

Beautiful location and lots of cute gifts upon arrival. Best beaches nearby. The house is gorgeous with everything you need inside.

Not a negative of our stay, I just would recommend other guests to get groceries before arriving if you don't have transportation or are uncomfortable with the winding roads. Also the restaurant nearby isn't open until mid-May if you stay here before then.

We LOVED every part of the house! The views, the decoration, everything was super clean. Also Marinos and his mother were extremely friendly and helpful, they brought traditional and homemade jams, food and presents. We received so much help and tips. The house is a dream, so is the whole area, it's extremely quiet, clean and super cute! I'm sure the location and our hosts made our trip to Milos one of our favorite places to visit. Thank you very much!

It is a perfect place for couples. Marinos the owner of the house is a very nice and helpful person. You can ask him for everything you need during your holidays in Milos. Highly recommend. 😊

Only superlatives about this quaint, charming house by the sea (and of course the host). You’ll find everything you need inside and here’s a bonus: it’s placed wall-to-wall to probably the best fish tavern on the island.

It gave us homework, because now we have to plan our next stay here.
