Ayubowan, Ella

I had a wonderful stay here during my visit to Ella. The view was absolutely breathtaking—waking up to the misty mountains and lush greenery was an unforgettable experience. It truly captures the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. The food was also excellent—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. Every meal felt authentic and satisfying. The place itself was clean, peaceful, and very comfortable. The atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Most importantly, the hospitality was outstanding—the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella. I would definitely love to stay here again!

Очень сложно добраться

Otelin konumu çok güzel. Tam tren geçiş manzarası görülüyor. Odaları geniş. Doğa manzarası harika. Çalışanlar çok yardımsever ve güler yüzlü. Geç saatte otele varmış olmamıza rağmen bize yemek hazırladılar. Sabah otel çıkışı valizlerimizi odada bırakıp gezintiye çıktık. Bizim için valizleri şehir merkezine getirdiler. Tekrar otele gitmemize gerek kalmadı. Otel mobilyaları çok yeni. Odalar yeni dizayn edilmiş. Üzerinde uğraşıldığı belli.

Yattığımız yatakta karıncalar vardı. Geç saatte odaya vardığımız için pek bir şey yapamadık. Temizleyip yattık fakat yine de karıncaların yolu olduğu için sabah kadar tedirgin olduk. Ella bölgesindeki oteller doğanın tam içinde. Her otelde böcek kelebek kertenkele vs olacaktır bu bir eleştiri değil. Fakat yatak üzerindeki karıncalara çözüm bulmaları lazım. Banyodaki havalndırma pencerelerini tel ile kapatmalarını öneriyorum.

Amazing view from the room. Comfortable bed and in a quiet location.

It is a 20 min walk along the railway line to reach Ella- we enjoyed it but with young children you’d maybe need to catch tuktuks- a much longer journey.

We absolutely love our stay. The location was perfect for us with a stunning view and short walk along the train tracks to Ella city. With car or tuk tuk the location was a bit more difficult to reach but we enjoyed the walk into the city everyday as it was a perfect stroll for our baby to sleep while we could enjoy the valleys and the waterfall views. The location also allows to hike to Ella rock from the hotel, which we can highly recommend. However, the highlight of our stay was the kind hosts who did everything possible for us to enjoy our stay. They picked us up from the train and made us feel like we were visiting friends throughout our entire stay. When we come back to Ella we will definitely stay here again.

Amazing hosts very friendly and helpful. Location is amazing, lost in the forest with an epic view but not too far from Ella center.

The staff was friendly and welcoming and catering to all our request.

Mainly the structure of rooms. As it was like a working progress. And accessibility for the rooms were a bit of challenging.

The hosts are lovely, able to help with whatever was needed and gave great advice for the area. We really liked the location - incredible view and out of the bustle of Ella town but an easy walk to get into, it was also a great location for Ella Rock. The room was clean and breakfast was plentiful.

I would just note the room is quite basic, there isn’t a place to hang clothes or a table.
