Captain's Cove

Location was great. Very close to beaches and plenty of places around to get whatever we needed for the stay. Comfortable and clean. AC works amazing as well which is a rare find in rentals.

We were happy to find a casual pizza place directly across the street when we arrived in the evening after a long drive, great for a quick and easy meal. Convenient location, comfy beds, and plenty of extra throw blankets made family movie time especially cozy. The long thick drapes in the bedrooms helped darken the rooms at night and added elegance. The yard was great for our small dogs, and the barn door separating the kitchen and living room was super helpful in keeping them out of the kitchen while cooking. We also enjoyed the scented candles, they added a touch of home.

Upon arrival we were confused by a large white truck present in the driveway. We then learned it belonged to a neighbor's visitor and it was removed within an hour or so. Inside, we had to be very careful with the dishwasher as it was not anchored into the frame and would tip out during loading/unloading. There was also a welcome mat outside the back door on the deck that had no traction backing and slipped out from beneath my foot when I stepped outside. I fell, twisting my ankle and skinning my knee. Host was advised and thanked me for notifying them, so hopefully those issues were corrected, as we would like to visit again.

I think the only thing I'd say, is another sofa instead of 2 little chairs. but everything and all of it was 100%. comfy beds. clean. tidy. nice vibe. good space. nice setting. both decks lovely too. we've stayed around here 3 times. but this has been the best stay and accommodation.
