LTIn Mathura I was for Holi festival so hotel`s location is perfect for that. I was invited to celebrate the festival in the hotel with owners, but unfortunately I had different plans. The room wasn't very clean but quite big. The curtains were falling from the wall but was fixed.
I was insistently asked to pay for the hotel weeks in advance by using other than booking.com platform for the payment. Staff is not speaking English so there was some communication issues. The most uncomfortable part was the tips. When arrived I asked for the bed sheet to use as a blanket. When it was provided (after many explanations and repeats) I gave some tip to the men, but he start to show that it is not enough and he wants to eat. Hotel is usually safe place so the situation was not nice at all. The other episode was in the morning when I had to leave. All gates were locked so I had to wake up the same men. The first thing he communicated when opened his eyes was give me money to let you out.

INCoulad not stay at Hotel Saurav as there were several steps and no lift facility
DEVery close to the Yamuna river, very nice and easy to go to the temples on the riverside which are wonderful, I went during the early morning. Even though communication was a bit restrained, and I was a bit skeptical at first because it looks kindof shady, the personal was actually just very sweet, super helpful, and did not try to scam me (i am a white tourist and do not speak hindi). They even kept my baggage during the day after checkout when i went to vrindavan. Very chill moments together around a bonfire in morning or evening.
No one present was speaking english, so it was a bit difficult to communicate as they had to call someone to translate everytime or try to hope we mean the same thing when we agree on something (as I don't speak Hindi). Didn't know how to turn on the hot water but that was probably half my fault. A bit difficult to reach with rickshaw but far from impossible. Sound isolation is very little so you can hear everything from the street and neighboring rooms.
