"Our stay was a fun and authentic experience and well located for collection/drop off for our safari."

8.0

Arriving after a long day's travelling, we could not have had a warmer welcome from Mayka and her family. Mayka agreed a short notice to have a meal prepared for our group of 7 at the conclusion of our safari. The cooking was excellent and we enjoyed our pizzas, fresh vegetables and fried rice. Although their restaurant is not licensed, Greshan offered to drive us into the nearby village for us to purchase a few beers to have with our dinner. They fantastic hosts. We had a very special experience the next morning when a cricket game was arranged by Greshan with his son, Brian Lara and our group of children.

Good value for the low pricing. The location is convenient for those traveling from Ella to the South coast. We stayed for one night to cut our journey in half. Our family room was large with two separate bedrooms and it had good airconditioning. The owners are super friendly and made an effort to make us comfortable. They prepared a tasty dinner for us, including a delicious pizza. And even though we didn't opt for breakfast, they still gave our two kids omelet on toast and a lot of watermelon slices to eat on the way!

"Would recommend when doing Lunugamvehera Safari!"

9.0

Big room and bathroom with space to eat (so we could eat in our room instead of the restaurant upstairs, which was very cute tho...). Best wifi we had during our trip. Great location for Lunugamvehera Safari (we did not book it with them, but it seemed like we could because they also had a safari jeep). The owner speaks dutch and is very nice! We arranged a well priced tuktuk with her, that took us to Dickwella at 7 pm after our safari (about 2.30-3h drive). We enjoyed our stay and definitly recommend when visiting the Lunugamvehera side of Yala national park. Glad there was a restaurant in the hotel, because there did not seem to be much in the area (we didn't mind tho, we were only here for the safari :))

Sadly we found a lot of cockroaches in the cabinets under the kitchen sink, but there was a spray to kill them, and we did not open the cabinet, that's all.
