Scent of Green Papaya

Resort très bien placé, très propre et spacieux, un personnel super sympathique et arrangeant. Le bar n’est pas cher, le petit-déjeuner est excellent. Ce séjour était parfait, allez y les yeux fermés.

Pool was nice and clean, restaurant was cheap and cheerful, with better meals than you could find in most of the beach area cafes. regular shuttle to beach for free. very comfy rooms with good TV ( netflix ect ). Consistent staff policies, eg, regarding making sure people didn't smoke or vape in the restaurant, which is great if you don't appreciate someone else's stale smoke with your food.

Hotel is a little tighter than the pictures show, rooms are closer in and around the pool than it looks, can be a little noisey if you get a big group coming home late, but that only happened once.

Location was great: It was near everything else but far from noise and chaos. It felt like home we could all run back to after being drained by various water and land activities. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, too.

I was looking for the scent of green papaya. There was none. An olfactory experience would have been such a cool and memorable experience. I’ll add what my nephews had to say: My 8yo nephew said the TV kept switching by itself because the remote might have been malfunctioning. My 17yo nephew struggled with the lack of bidet in our room. My sister said their bathroom had bidet but water pressure was almost non-existent.

Nice and clean hotel in Alona Beach. Everything was quiet fine. In the middle of the hotel was a swimming pool and the (hotel) buildings are quiet modern. We were happy to stay here. Important to mention: the hotel offers each hour a ride (and later a pick-up) to the beach. Thanks for this!
