Bes Hotel Terme a Palazzago

The property is spacious and relatively new in a calm area. Parking is free but beware that there are no EV charging points. The staff was very friendly and even though they did not speak much English they made an effort to try and communicate. It did feel like most of the staff were temp staff as this looked like a low season for the property. The indoor pool is heated and big but the outdoor pool is closed for the winter. The spa area was lovely!

The breakfast was the most disappointing experience. Considering the price per night for a stay inclusive of breakfast and this being a 4-star hotel, it was very disappointing that there was very limited choice. You get to order eggs, bacon, pancakes and waffles at your table, along with your beverage. The eggs were terribly cooked! And you are served a little bread basket at your table but none of the items tasted very fresh. There were no vegetables, cheese or cold cuts, nor any cut fruits. The bread and toast tasted dry and stale. On the cleanliness part, we noticed on the last day some blond hair stuck to the wall of our shower area, whereas neither me nor my husband have anything close to blond hair. That was a major put off!

The hotel is beautiful, located in a secluded location in the quiet of nature. The wellness area is wonderful and completely clean. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. All in all, it was a wonderful short break for us.

Perfect for a quiet wellness vacation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options from fresh and dried fruits, cornflakes, pancakes and waffles. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Not crowded. Total relaxation and a very soothing view. They even managed to grant my request of putting petals on the bed 😍 We would definitely come back

They forgot to give our room towels. Other than that it was perfect.

New and freshly renovated, the hotel is quiet and clean with beautiful surroundings. The staff was professional, kind and available for any request. The spa was very pleasant and clean, and we also had a very great massage!

I wanted a quiet location in the countryside near Bergamo for 3 nights. Perfect. Bright & clean. Spacious room. Recently renovated. Modern design touches. Very few guests when I was there. Very personal attention from the staff! Lovely grounds & views to the nearby hills. The warm-water wellness-pools are welcome for a tired traveler. The breakfast room is bright and cheerful. Lovely fresh food. Drinks & snacks in the room, including hot-water cooker & coffee. About 30 min drive into Bergamo for sight-seeing. Nearby Osteria in the forest was a great tip from Maurizio, the hotel manager. Would love to return for a longer stay!

Best to arrive by car. GPS directions from Google maps & TomTom both need improvement. But if you do your homework ahead of time and find out where the hotel is, you will get there. The manager, Maurizio sent me a TXT before arrival with more exacting details, but I had already figured it out. Wellness pools cost extra and use of the spa also. Not cheap, but a special place.
