Le Finestre di Amalfi

Mario (the owner) was so helpful and friendly, kind. He picked us up from Amalfi and helped us with our luggage. Checked in with us everyday and let us pick fresh tomato/basil/lemons from the yard. The view was incredible, so peaceful and isolated. There were lots of cats keeping us company too. We had our own private patio with lounge chairs and a table. Mario gave us recommendations of places to eat, where to hire a scooter and beach access.

Lots of steps to get there but we knew that before we made our reservation.

The view is absolutely beautifull and unique, and the location is very quiet.

The view is breathtaking, it’s also away from the main tourist paths so you can get away from the craziness of the amalfi coast. During our stay we had visits from a bunch of super cute cats and a hoard of mountain goats. Complete silence in general, all you can here are the animals. The hosts are also the most lovely people!

Without a scooter you have to climb hundreds of steep stairs to get to the house, so it gets tiring but since a scooter is the best way to visit the coast, it shouldn’t be a problem.

 The fact that the property is away from it all, especially after the craziness of Amalfi you can kick back and just relax and look at the amazing views .

if I was forced to pick one thing, it might be the steps, but at least you’re working off the pizza pasta and pastries 😊

Amazing stay in an amazing place, the view is spectacular, so peaceful and relaxing, the apartment was spotlessly clean and has everything that you could possibly need. the bed was very comfortable. Mario and his wife were very friendly and welcoming and are great hosts I would highly recommend booking a stay here.

the views were spectacular. the host was so helpful and wanted to do everything to make my stay as good as he was able. the location is very remote with no restaurants or markets accessible and unfortunately everything was closed for my one full day as it was Sunday. The host stopped at a market on our way up to the apartment but the lateness of the day meant many things were out and I didn’t know this was my only option for food. I would go back it was that beautiful and now I know what to get at the market.
