Mont Eco Game Reserve

Das Zimmer war sehr schön und besonders mit einer tollen Terrasse.

Trotz wenig Gäste hat man beim Frühstück eine Stunde auf die Eierspeise gewartet.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay - from the welcome on arrival until the day we left, it was an unforgettable & magical experience. The lodge is small, which makes the service very personal. The rooms are beautifully furnished, elegant, luxurious, and spacious, featuring a deck to enjoy the outside space. The lodge has a pool and a games room for entertainment.It is set in a remote location with no cell phone reception; however, you have free Wi-Fi to use, which worked great for us, located in the furthest room. The game drives were amazing, two per day, we managed to see 4 of the Big 5 very close up, plus other animals. The experience was a true bush/safari experience! Unser Aufenthalt in der Mont Eco Reserve Lodge war einfach aussergewöhnlich und hat unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Die Lodge mit nur sieben kleinen Häuschen schafft eine sehr persönliche und ruhige Atmosphäre. Die Unterkünfte sind wunderschön, geschmackvoll und luxuriös eingerichtet – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Besonders unvergesslich waren die Safaris. Wir hatten das grosse Glück, unglaublich viele Tiere zu sehen und gleichzeitig sehr viel über sie zu lernen. Unser Ranger TK war einfach grossartig – extrem kompetent, mit einem beeindruckenden Wissen über Tiere und Natur, und gleichzeitig unglaublich freundlich, fröhlich und unkompliziert. Jede Fahrt mit ihm war ein echtes Highlight. Besonders geschätzt haben wir auch, dass die Safaris sehr respektvoll und nachhaltig durchgeführt werden. Die Tiere werden in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum beobachtet, ohne sie zu stören, und man spürt, dass ihr Wohl hier wirklich im Mittelpunkt steht. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Mont Eco-Team für dieses unvergessliche Erlebnis – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Only Adults, top Ausstattung in bester Qualität. Das freundliche Team trägt massgeblich zu einem sehr familiären zusammensein bei.

The lodge and accommodation are superb - wonderful decor …. stunning and very luxurious.

We had not realised that having left Montagu the drive to Mont Eco Reserve would take one hour - at points on really challenging road surface more suited to a 4x4 than regular car hire. Half an hour of the journey is within the Reserve itself and we found it stressful and feared a puncture. We feel cars should be left at the gate with a shuttle to the reserve.

Wahrlich eine first class lodge mit erstklassigen Bungalows, tollem Pool Bereich, exzellenter Küche und sehr freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal. Es war einfach perfekt.

This is a wonderful 5-star hotel set in an amazing natural environment. The wildlife around the property and the game drives are truly special and adds a unique, memorable dimension to the stay. The property itself is very well designed. Huge thanks to the staff, who were consistently warm, attentive, and professional throughout our stay!

The journey to the hotel was not well communicated! From a five-star hotel, I would expect to receive all the information we needed, but we didn’t. The road to the hotel is pretty rough (an hour before arriving). An SUV would have been more comfortable and faster. The food has clear room for improvement—particularly at breakfast. While everything was cooked well and presented nicely, the selection was surprisingly limited, eg only toast bread available as bread option. For a hotel of this category, a wider variety options would be expected. This wasn’t an issue worth raising with the staff, as the execution itself was good, but it’s more a point for management to consider in order to elevate the overall dining experience.
