Very nice apartment, clean, with comfortable bed. Self check in was smooth. Very good coffee in apartment, breakfast good but pretty basic. Good location, 10 min walking distance from city center.

Too much noise! You can hear people from street like they are with you in apartment.

We stayed in Catania for four days the accommodation at Figli Di Agata is less than a 10 minute walk from the very large market, around 15 minute walk to the town centre and around 20 minute walk from both the railway and bus stations. The property was spotlessly clean and we received a very warm welcome from a lovely lady who gifted us a bottle of wine

The breakfast is decent. The owner is very kind and courteous. For two days of stay, she gifted us a bottle of champagne and a bottle of wine. The distance to the center area is short (about 7 minutes of walk).

The pillow is too soft, and I got the neck pain from it. The split level (bedroom upstairs and kitchen downstairs) creates temperature differential. In the cold days, the upstart is warm, but downstair is too cold.

Absolutely stunning little apartment on two floors. Lots of extras we didn't expect were provided too. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lots of pastries and bits for breakfast. Milk, wine, and juice in the fridge (unfortunately I'm allergic to dairy but it was a lovely thought). Herbal tea alongside tea and coffee, even plasters were provided! The hosts were very quick to respond to our message requests on the day of our arrival too. The spa bath was brilliant (you just had to turn the tap off and wait for the boiler to reheat the water every ten minutes or so until the bath was filled) and it was great to have both air con and heating. The whole place was spotless and really clean. The bed was so comfortable. It's not very often we find a bed thats as comfortable as our bed at home. It only had one pillow each though and there were no cushions on the settee downstairs. I feel an extra cushion each would be an additional bonus. They had different plug sockets to typical European sockets, which meant ours didn't work. But they had a converter plug connected to the hairdryer and the kettle. So we used those, with our European converter sockets and got there in the end. Thankfully we had packed an English four gang plug. The mural on the wall did make us think that from the photos that was our balacony. In reality it was a big picture on the lounge wall. The balcony was a shared walkway for an apartment block that was set in a U-shape. Overall this was a stunning and beautiful little apartment and we would highly recommend as long as you don't need much sleep.

I wish the apartment hadn't said specifically that it was "soundproof". I have no idea if it has had work done in this way, but we could hear every crash of the apartment blocks gate closing. We could hear loud footsteps as people walked past the kitchen door. And something the hosts couldn't control, was the unfortunate building work going on in the square garden of the apartment block and the block itself. Plus roadworks right outside the front entrance. Unfortunately the noise various people made (including those living directly above our appartment) didn't stop until midnight every night and began again by 6am every morning. If the advertisement didn't state the apartment was soundproof we would have been dissapointed, but fine. The fact it clearly states soundproof just heightened our dissapointment as we were anticipating a quiet stay and at the very least the luxury of a relaxing lie-in past 6am. Building work (industrial drilling, hammering) was in full swing every day of our stay by 7:30am.

Great location, everything in the walking distance. We managed to park on the street and the check in was super fast with no problems even though we arrived later than expected. The bathtub was awesome.

In the winter, it was difficult to ventilate and the humidity kept in the room for quite a time. Suppose this is completely different in the summer.
