Andreini, Bologna by Short Holidays

Lots of space, comfy beds, separate kitchen space to use. Great location, a few minutes walk from Bologna san vitale station, 4 minute train ride from centrale. Which made travelling really easy. Felt really secure. The hosts were really responsive before and during our visit. The kitchen, equipment linen and rooms were very clean.

Only two negatives which I have seen in other reviews. Worst was the smell from any drain. Sulphury/eggy smell which at points was unbearable. But it was mainly in the shower itself, so could contain to the bathroom itself. Raised to the host and they sent a maintenance person to sort, unfortunately we were out so they couldn’t access. But they left a drain cleaner for us to use which eased the smell, it was bad by the end of the stay again but it was manageable. 2nd was a lot of noise from the outside street, speeding cars or planes during the night. But that does happen and wasn’t a game charger. And is outside of the hosts control.

L’accesso difficoltoso causato dal doversi praticamente coricare per terra per raggiungere le chiavi (che è stato possibile solamente grazie all’uso di una penna come prolungamento del braccio). Il letto non fatto Gli avanzi degli ospiti precedenti nel frigo Il bagno sporco e il sapone usato dagli ospiti precedenti aperto sul lavandino. Avevo avvisato all’host che saremmo arrivati in tardo pomeriggio per cui mi aspettavo un maggiore ordine dell’appartamento avendo a disposizione praticamente tutto il pomeriggio per sistemare.

We had a great time. Matteo was a very nice and helpful host. The location was great - it was just a short walk from the city centre but at the same time it was very quiet and peaceful. We loved the apartment, especially the kitchen and patio.
