The location was amazing for accessing the whole island! The host was friendly and accommodating! Loved the privacy and cleanliness of the room while having access to the shared kitchen.

Noise carries between rooms. We didn’t have a problem with it.

Room was nice and everything what needed was available or delivered on request.

Located next to busy street that was loud also during the night. Municipal landfill site was just across the street and smell was very bad. It took us some time to find out the reason.

Great location and cleaning, excellent kitchen equipment. Nice host.

WC smelled.

Everything except that it is super close to the main road, so you can hear the ongoing traffic.

!!! WARNING !!! PLEASE, READ THIS: The images and descriptions from this location / HOSTEL didn´t show the reality! Don´t get bluffed by the "first friendlyness" of the owner. You will pay a lot of money for that: 1. The ISLAND TRASH LANDFILL (MÜLL DEPONIE von der ganzen Insel) is 150meters away. You can see it from the "house", too. It smells disgusting over the day and night. 2. A loud SPEEDWAY (north-south link) is 50meters infront of the HOSTEL. 3. In general: Loud hostel / noisy 4. Close / aside to an industrial zone and to a construction zone. Very loud 5. Trash / construction stuff in the garden 6. When there is no smell from the trash landfill, THEN the house has got a problem with the sewerage, too. It SMELLS sometimes like "shit". 7. COCKROACHES (KAKERLAKEN) in the house And several other problems. I made from every points photos and videos. By the way: If you except a small silent / private vacation house with maybe 3-4 others - it is an illusion. There are about 12-16/18 others in this little HOSTEL. If you had bad luck, then it is especially in the morning and evening (very) loud Communicated some critical points in person or via watts app to the owner, too while the stay. Asking VERY FRIENDLY for a fair 50% refund based on the points and some more above. Nothing happens! Had to contact booking.com for help. Thank you booking.com for your help! DON`T GO THERE, PLEASE !!!

The place is 13mins drive away from Ponta Delgada. It is well-equipped, you can wash and dry your clothes if you want. Good price-quality ratio. The host, Cristina was always available and responsive.

Clean and big room. Kitchen facility is common but most of the time with enough space. Above all, Ricardo is great guy and provided us with excellent advice to visit best places. He also helped us with check in and available in case any help is required.

You need a car for this place. A bit noisy as it is close to road but that was not much.

Nice house, well located in the centre of the island. The room was clean and confy, with a well-equiped bathroom.

The common kitchen was a little bit too small for that many clients and sometimes it was bit crowded.
