Villa Alba by Akasha Retreat

Locatia este foarte aproape de Castelul Bran, ușor de ajuns. Acolo veți fi întâmpinați de cei mai draguti proprietari. Bunul simt de simte de la poarta. Am pasit in minunata vila, sau mai bine zis-> intr-o poveste, si nu una oarecare. Parfum de vechi imbinat placut cu modernul, un living cu un semineu prédominant, iar linistea imaginii parca te lasa mut. Iti rămâne doar sa inchizi ochii si sa auzi planul cum iti incanta urechile. Camera noastra a avut baia in exteriorul camerei, personal pe noi nu ne-a deranjat. Este baia prorpie a camerei nr 3. De altfel am avut prieteni cu noi, la Master room cu semineu si inca un duble room. Pentru tot grupul de 9 pax, a fost totul placut. Micul dejun, da, poate pt unii nu a fost prea mult, sau poate nu e prea diversificat,dar pentru noi a fost suficient. Clatite calde, omlete, oua ochi, salate, porage, unt cu dulceata, fructe, deci nu vad ceva ce sa nu fie pe placul cuiva. Doamna de serveste, este foarte atenta si draguta. Ce am apreciat, este ca noi am stat in living, unde am ras, ne-am jucat jocuri de societate, fără ca cineva sa ne deranjeze. Totul curat, asta e primul lucru la care ma uit, iar aici chiar pot sa va spun, ca nu veți intampina probleme. Paturile mari, perne moi si confortabil. Eu chiar țin sa mulțumesc proprietarilor pentru conceptul pe care il pun la dispoziția turiștilor. Cu stima, Alexandra Ștefan!

The lobby was nicely decorated with a large and cozy fireplace. The breakfast, although limited, is tasty.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a disaster but by all means not a 9.5 fabulous location either. Here's why: - the old furniture in the room which looks and feels like 90s furniture. - the room's windows and access door towards the balcony which do not close well. - the fact that the presentation pictures are deceiving. You cannot tell from the pictures that the bathroom is 10m away from the room and that the square shaped building with inner windows mounted everywhere means that you have no privacy when commuting between the bathroom and the room itself. - the fact that we had to wait in the rain until we were lucky enough to have a tourist open the door of the villa for us. - the fact that there is no actual reception. The welcome pack was delivered via whatsapp 30 mins after pur initial call because we did not know what room we had, where the keys were etc. - the fact that at 7.30 am with a small child in our care had to search for the cleaning lady to get some toilet paper because in all that 10 sqm bathroom there was no (backup) toilet paper roll. Overall we left after less than 15 hours spent on the location. Lessons learned: dig deep into details when the description says external private bathroom. Did not imagine that this can exist on 9.5 rated location, even if the pictures don't tell the full story.

The location is beautiful, very close to Bran Castle, and the house is truly renovated with good taste.

I don’t know what happened during the night, but in the morning, the heating wasn't working and the room was cold. When we arrived, it was functioning, but in the morning, the heat was off.

Totul a fost superb! Serviciile au fost excelente, mic dejun diversificat, camerele curate si călduroase, personal amabil si primitor, locație de poveste! Ne a placut tare mult, cu siguranță vom reveni.

O oază de liniște în mijlocul naturii. Vila e decorată cu mult bun gust și atmosfera e deosebit de primitoare. Motanul Fatboy și cățelușa contribuie și ei la sentimentul general. Micul dejun pregătit de doamna Daniela e foarte gustos și echilibrat. Ne dorim să revenim cât mai curând.
