Bernie’s Place

We found the property well maintained and extremely comfortable. We had a lovely surprise with a welcoming note and a bottle of complimentary wine which was a wonderful and kind thought from the host. I can 100% recommend this property and would definitely return here.

The house is very very nice. Quite a luxurious place really. The beds were actually comfy too, which was great. Most Airbnb's have crappy cheap beds. Its in a lovely quiet location and the views are really nice. Its really big too, its alot bigger than it looks from outside. The design is very modern but has a nice cosy vibe.

The only tiny minus was that the living room was so big , with the extended part going in to a sun room, it was difficult to get it warmed up. The radiators were not getting as much heat as the rest of the rads in the house. I even borrowed a neighbours radiator key as I thought they might be full of air, but they weren't. Not sure what was up with that. In fairness it was a very cold wknd and Sat night was touching zero degrees. Full disclosure I find most rooms a bit nippy. I like my heat! Anyhow, no points lost... If we are lucky enough to get it in the future I'll bring a bag of logs and light the fire.

Perfect location, close to the beach and great restaurants with beautiful views.

The property was everything we wanted and more. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back again. Host was easy to contact and gave us the information we required.

What a pleasant surprise. It was more than what we wanted. A home from home but better. The host was outstanding and very thoughtful. Santa’s Donegal Elf was with us in the house for the duration and even left a note! The children were thrilled. The house was spotless and had everything we needed even for the Christmas dinner. There was plenty of space for all of us. We couldn’t asked for more. Some gorgeous little features in the house.

I travelled to Ballyliffin with my wife and two children for the bank holiday weekend. This is a lovely house that was spotlessly clean with all amenities that you would need. Would have no hesitation in recommending this house for anyone staying in the area. Would definitely book again.
