SALT LIFE MARARI BEACH VILLA

Everything! Amalju and her parents were lovely and the home cooked food was the best we had during two months of travel in India. Great location. Lovely beach shacks nearby.

We had a very small bedroom, as the bigger rooms were not available. Adequate for a night or so.

This is a nice place with a clean room, very friendly and supportive host, good walking distance to beach and a nice veranda in front of the room to relax. Unfortunately I missed to decide for the dinner-I really regret. the 2 night before I had booked annother homestay, which in direct comparision was a mistake. The quiet privacy and cleanliness in this place was far better. I recommend to stay here.

A very friendly homestay with clean rooms, great home cooked food and just a short walk to the beach. The rooms have a lovely balcony/outside space where you can sit and eat. I found the food to be as good as, if not better than most of the local restaurants. I spent several weeks here and felt really looked after by Amalu and her family. They are very accommodating and create a lovely atmosphere.

Lovely room with air conditioning and fan, own bathroom and veranda (with fan too). Delicious breakfast included. Also ate dinner at the property on 2 nights, also delicious. Very close to beach. Quiet but with good facilities close by.

My stay at Salt was like visiting my favorite relatives. very comfortable room with everything I needed, amazing food, lovingly cooked by mom. As a result, I ate all my dinners there. Amalu, the daughter, was super available, solid with English , and always willing to help. One minute walk to the beach, which is lovely and endless. I’d say in the top two home stays after a month and a half of traveling Kerala.

Excellent stay! Nice location, few min walk to the beach. Room is comfortable and clean. Service is very good and meals are tasty and affordable. Overall, big recommendation for this place

There are occasional water reductions in the area, so remember to keep the water bucket full

Clean and very peaceful, only two minutes walk from the best part of Marari beach area. Over all these positive sides we had also the pleasure to meet Amalu and her family as hosts: so attentive and prompt to any guest need. We cannot recommend a better place to stay in Marari!

Lovely family, perfect location- a short walk to quiet beach. Small room but fine for us, nice terrace outside room. We had dinner there which was one of best meals we've had in India so far.

No A/C but did have a fan
