Marygate - Gallery Apartment

Property was in a great location, really clean and quiet at night.

Double bed was small, the room was big enough for a larger bed.

This is a stunning spacious apartment situated in a lovely area just away from the very busy streets. Overall we had a lovely time and would stay there again.

The shower in the bathroom (not the ensuite) tended to overflow onto the floor which made it difficult to use. Possibly a design issue. There was also no facility for recycling although this probably is not the fault of Stays York.

Very easy place to find parking no problem getting the keys simple. The apartment was very clean smells brand new a York stays hamper nice touch very enjoyable four nights stay would recommend

Modern, stylish and most importantly.. immaculately clean.

No openable windows for fresh air

Well located. We parked the car when we arrived and walked everywhere for three days. Local shops are useful too. Good beds and nicely chosen furniture.

Ground floor location makes passers-by look in, but blinds are good and there was no noise from the pub. Parking claims to offer five spaces for the three flats in the building but is poorly marked and struggles to accommodate even four cars. Wasn’t a problem in practice but could be improved. The only table is small and wobbly. Would be awkward for more than two people.

The apartment was really modern and well kitted out beds comfy, very close to centre with a lovely walk through a park on the way.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi didn’t work so had to check password with the office as the one given for our apartment didn't allow us to log in the office told us password for another apartment and this worked but needs sorting

Location was perfect. Couldn't have been better. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit York

No wine glasses or condiments, salt, pepper etc. Not keen on the little sugar or milk packs. We would have preferred a carton of milk as well as sugar. However the welcome pack was fantastic. These were minor irritations as we still thought the apartment was exceptional.
