DA Family Mini Garden

Very hearty family, took perfect care of us, drove us around for very good price and communicated very good and steady. Meals cooked by the mother were delicious. We could pet cats and dogs. It was I think the cleaniest accommodation in Sabah :) Dont hesitate to contact them even if they seem to be fully booked! They can send you more info on how to get there by bus from Kota Kinabalu.

Some of the taps were leaking, as well as the flushing water input of one toilet. Just a heads up.

The environment is very good, the homestay's owner is very kind, friendly and helpful.

Best experience in whole Malasyia. Family invited us to dine with them. Very friendly and authentic.

The property is beautiful. The open air kitchen/dining area means you can have breakfast/dinner with stunning views. There are lots of fruit trees (rambutan, dragonfruit, jackfruit) that meant we had fresh fruit with our meals. We even got to try picking our own rambutan! The rooms are basic but comfy and everything we needed. The family however, is the best thing about this place. They are so welcoming, provided us with transport to and from poring hot springs as well as to and from the bus stop. It was great to be able to enjoy wonderful conversations during dinner and breakfast as they sat down with us, which we really liked. They also helped us book our bus tickets out of Ranau, which proved hard to do by ourselves online. We were sad that we only stayed one night!
